A specialized ecommerce company catering to sports teams and tournament for all age groups, offering cost-effective options for sports rings.

The Solution

Although we had already incorporated SEO, search ads and shopping ads, their reach was limited to only people looking for that product or similar products. They had an impressive ROI but faced a growing amount of competition. Moreover, not all league directors or coaches considered the option of providing rings. 

Due to seasonality, there were periods of the year when search volume decreased. The idea came to experiment with Facebook and Instagram ads during off-seasons to pique interest and encourage coaches to consider our product before the start of the season.

The Success

The social media ads launched were met with exceptional engagement, especially among coaches and directors who were enthusiastic about inspiring their teams with fun memorabilia. 

The ads received an abundance of shares, comments, and tagging, which continue to occur. Moreover, conversions were highly successful, with an 833% year-over-year increase in leads from digital advertising, despite being during the off-season. Surprisingly, the cost-per-click for Facebook and Instagram ads was low, resulting in overall leads being acquired at 64% less than the previous year.
